New vaccination legislation proposed. Urgent action required by you today!
9 June 2008The following email was sent to my in-box today, and it struck me as so important I wanted to post it here. First I would like to clarify that I am not anti-vaccine (both my children have been vaccinated) but I did this on my schedule not a government mandated schedule. They were both compliant before they went to school.
This particular legislation isn’t about whether you are for or against vaccinations, the bigger question is this: does a government agency really have a right to mandate over our bodies OR over what we actually choose to put into our bodies? To fight this legislation wouldn’t mean you disagree with vaccinations, it would mean that you are fighting against a federal agency dictating what can be injected into your or your child’s body.
If this bill actually passes you also have to ask if it would then stop with just vaccines, after all if we are going to allow federally mandated vaccines for the sake of everyone’s health and well-being then we really should just go ahead and write legislation banning things like fast-food, cigarettes, alcohol, tobacco, even our morning latte or anything else that some politician decides we should or shouldn’t inject or ingest into ourselves for the “good of our health”. To take it even further, how about if we were overweight, not exercising enough, watching too much TV? Who is the chosen one who gets to decide and say enough is enough? If an abortion is a woman’s right to choose on an unwanted pregnancy, then a “philosophical exemption” is my right to choose on vaccines.
The cynic in me can’t help but think the goal of this bill isn’t one of “the good of our health” its one of money.
The bottom line is this, we live in a free-country and my health is and should be my concern; it should be my decision to eat or not eat fast-food, or my decision to enjoy un-protected or protected sex, its even my choice to eat that bucket of high salt, high fat fries, these are all things I CHOOSE to do, nothing that a government official should be making legislation about.
In my humble opinion it is the government’s responsiblity to focus on things such as the economy and enterprise of the community, to focus on increasing jobs, employment creation, attracting new business to the area, focus on keeping the community safe from crime, gangs and other skull duggery, do not focus on my body, that right belongs to me not society as a collective unit.
How about banning food dyes and other additives in our food that have been scientifically proven to cause cancer? Why are they not banned? Why is the government not jumping all over that one?
How about genetically modified corn products? They are not even mandating that food be labeled as GMO, no, no government official seems to care that we are potentially opening ourselves up to bad health from that un-tested avenue. And who was the bright spark who decided that all the seeds we use to grow our food could be patented by an enterprising few? Yes, the seeds are now owned by companies (Monsanto, Dupont to name but two) across the globe who are slowly becoming the main suppliers of the seeds. This all leaves us open to being monopolized and the threat of higher prices in the future. But I am sure that by the time that pile hits the fan, the person responsible for pushing through that piece of legal prowess will be dead and gone, having lived a fat life off the backs of the future of our children!
Anyway back to the topic at hand. Really the question becomes, who is going to gain from this legislation? Why FORCE everyone to inject themselves with –

May cause insomnia, coughing, headaches, nausea, nosebleeds, and skin rashes. Commonly known to embalm corpses. It has been said that there is no safe level of formaldehyde to be ingested into the body. Hydrochloric acid: CAN DISTROY TISSUE UPON DIRECT CONTACT! Found in aluminum cleaners and rust removers. Aluminum: toxic, cancerous. Thimerosal: mercury derivative (contain mercury.) Extremely dangerous preservative. Made from a combination of Ethylene Glycol (AKA antifreeze!!!) and ethanol, thiosalicylic acid, sodium hydroxide and ethyl mercuric chloride. These chemicals are nerotoxic, dangerous, fatal and easily cause brain and liver damages. causes cancer. Phosphates: suffocates all forms of aquatic life. Found in laundry and dishwasher detergent and cleaners. Our government wants your child to receive 5 injections.

Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine
Live measles and mumps virus grown in cell cultures from chick embryos. Live rubella virus grown in human diploid cells (human aborted fetus) Wistar RA 27/2 strain grown in aborted fetus originating from the tissues of a fetus aborted in 1964 after the 25 year old mother developed rubella. Sorbital, neomycin antibiotic, hydrolyzed gelatin.
Also other preservatives, unknown to me which ones
The government wants your child to receive 2 shots of these 3 vaccines =15 !

Surely this is not legislation to force-feed our children more chemicals, the same children who are already overloaded, toxic, hyperactive, and autistic. Is this a world where money and power overtake our basic rights to health; where people can play dangerous games with our health just to make money, or is it really and truly just misguided compassion. It’s more than cruel if it really is a case of money talks, in vaccines, in our food supply, in our drive to find alternative energies!
If I ever won the lottery I would spend my money advertising in the newspapers and magazines across the country, running ads on TV stations, heck I might even take a Superbowl commercial to try to give the average consumer an understanding that the things we put in our bodies, i.e. preservatives, chemicals, parabans, corn syrup, MSG, food dyes etc,. have a very real and detrimental effect on our health and well-being. We all know people who are struggling with cancer, infertility, autism, ADHD, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and a host of other syndromes that seem to be on the rise no matter what we do, you have to wonder if there is a link.
If you are concerned about this legislation, and if you do not want the government making YOUR health choices. Ask yourself are these people really smarter than you when it comes to your body? Do they really know what’s best for you over what you know about yourself? Read the rest of this and choose to make a difference by writing to your congressman and your Senator, but first use the telephone number TODAY at the end of this article to voice your opinion. Do NOT let your health care decisions be made by someone you don’t even know, someone who you have no connection too, someone who really doesn’t care about you. You do not have to live in NY to voice your opinion on this issue. Speak now before someone tries to introduce this in your state. This is scheduled to be voted on TOMORROW! June 10 2008.
NO-EXEMPTION VACCINE BILL ON THE FAST TRACK IN NY
“We were sent the following information by New Yorkers for Vaccination Information and Choice (NYVIC). They have called for an ALERT on proposed NY legislation affecting vaccine mandates for students and others.
According to them, this is a major crisis that will take away your right to choose what vaccines to give your children and when. It also involves mandated vaccines for adults. If you choose, it is your chance to be involved. I am sending this to all our subscribers nationwide, because although you may live in California, you may have relatives and friends in New York. Moreover, what happens in New York may well be repeated in every other state over the next few months or years. I don’t want to leave you out.
A new bill, A10942, was introduced into the State Assembly and referred to the Assembly Health Committee on May 7, 2008. It will be used to amend many of the existing vaccination laws.

To read the bill summary ~ Be aware that the bill is carefully worded to sound much less dramatic than it actually is. I had to read it several times to “get” what they were saying.
BACKGROUND
Assembly Bill 10942 would make all vaccines the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) recommends MANDATORY for all children in order to attend school, and for the first time vaccines would become MANDATORY for infants and toddlers.
Alternative proposed legislation, called A5468/S3031, would give individuals a right to a philosophical exemption from vaccine mandates.
Here are a few more features of the proposed bill:
* Elected New York representatives would no longer determine the schedule of vaccines to attend school; decisions made by the federal Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) would automatically become mandatory.
* All children - infants and toddlers included - in New York would be required to get all vaccines recommended by the ACIP and according to the ACIP schedule.
* All children in New York up to age 18 would be required to get annual flu shots.
* All girls in New York would be required to get a human papilloma virus shot.
* All junior high school children and college students would be required to get meningococcal shots.
* Vaccines would be provided WITHOUT parental consent being required.
* Doctors would be required to issue certificates for every shot given and parents would be required to maintain the records and provide them to school and other authorities.
It was not mentioned in the Alert, but upon reading the Summary it was clear that vaccines would also be required for all adults in healthcare and long-term care facilities - both the personnel and the residents. And, again, their vaccination status would be reported and tracked.

This bill is fast tracked for a vote on TUESDAY, JUNE 10, so the NYVIC asks you to please take two minutes of your time MONDAY to make a phone call to each of the following:

Some ‘talking points’ are:
* This is an un-funded mandate for a never-ending list of vaccines. In other words, the state (you, the taxpayer) will have to come up with the money for the vaccines when state social service agencies provide them to patients unable to pay.
* The bill would take the power to make decisions about vaccine mandates away from the state legislature and give it to the federal government. Ask your legislators if they want to surrender their responsibilities to an agency of the federal government.
* In the future, there may be controversial or objectionable vaccines that they, the legislators, would not want to give their children - if they approve this bill, how would they be able to protect their own child from such a vaccine?
* Critics of vaccine mandates argue that federal health agencies do not use appropriate criteria for making vaccine recommendations, that the different sources of recommendations are not uniform nor in agreement, and that vaccine recommendations were never intended to be mandated by law.
* If bill A10942 passes, the day may come when a new vaccine will be so risky and controversial that the majority of NY parents will be opposed to it, but there will be nothing they can do to stop it from being mandated for their children.
