Wonderful Chiropractic office

My physician told me to contact you after taking x-rays of my lower back. You see I have lived with numbness in my leg and lower back for a number of years. I travel by air every week and I got to the point where I could not walk from an airplane to baggage claim without stopping and sitting down numerous times.

I have been treated by others in my quest to find a non surgical solution for my impaired gait. I must admit that I had many concerns, doubts and questions regarding a chiropractic approach. In the back of my mind I was thinking the DRX 9000 spinal decompression machine was smoke and mirrors. How could this work when the so called experts were saying surgery is the next step.

When I limped into your office I was greeted not only by the friendly staff at Fontana Family Chiropractic, but by you as well. You answered my questions and shared with me how spinal decompress works. In so many words you said trust me.

As I drove home this morning after my 16th treatment absolutely pain free, not only able to walk but run as well, I was reminded of a story that perhaps you have heard.

A man posted handbills around the countryside proclaiming that he was going to cross Niagara Falls on a tight rope pushing a wheelbarrow. On the day of the event hundreds of people showed up to see this fool who was surely going to fall to his death. As he approached the wire a man stepped out of the crowd and said, “I think that you can make it” “Good replied the dare devil, now get into the wheelbarrow.”

Dating to 1997 I have had back trouble that continued to affect me. An MRI in 2003 indicated a bulging / herniated disc. The neurosurgeon suggested surgery. I opted for steroid injections and have had 3 of those. Last year, the injection hit my spinal cord resulting in spinal headaches.
At the end of February, my back pain started again and after 3 weeks of pain medication and not able to work, I came to Dr. Fontana’s office to begin the DRX program.
As of this date, I have no pain and am able to resume all activities including skiing, golfing and softball. The staff and Paul and Susan have been fantastic. I really appreciate the quality and results they have provided.
